Milling cutter designed to create the housings for installing FCS II fin boxes in surfboards.
It is used with a router or trim router equipped with a 1/4" (6.35 mm) collet, for precise and controlled machining when preparing housing locations.
Adapted for use with a compatible router template and copy ring, it allows for faithful reproduction of the shape of the housings required for plug installation.
It is a practical tool for shapers, repair shops and surfboard manufacturers.
Application: routing of locations for FCS II fin boxes.
Shank diameter: 1/4" (6.35 mm).
Machine compatibility: router or trimmer equipped with a clamping collet adapted to the shank diameter.
Usage: with a compatible template and copy ring, depending on the machining configuration.

Usage tips
Check the compatibility between the router bit, template, copy ring, and the FCS II case model being used. Observe the recommended routing depth and work at a spindle speed appropriate for the material being machined.
Caution: The 6.35 mm shank diameter refers to the machine's clamping system and does not define the cutter's cutting diameter. Check the cutting dimensions and tool geometry before use.
